Welcome back to another email. The end is nigh, but it's not over yet. This week was a busy week where we went with many new missionaries and then Saturday went all the way up to Telêmaco Borba. This week has been a very spiritual week for me and I can testify of the power of the Lord and his infinite love for us. I can not share all the experiences that I have had, for they are for me and the Lord, however I can testify of my assurity that the Savior is real and there is such thing as the true power of God.

2 Posso Tudo em Cristo (I can do everything through Christ); 1st Assistant to the President; Brasil Curitiba Mission
Throughout my mission I have had many questions and I have received many answers. I truly have been converted during my time here. Although it wasn't ever easy, it was possible and is still possible for everyone. The Lord's endless mercies are waiting for you. He loves you, and knows you, and wants to help you always. During my mission I struggled at lot with confidence in myself and confidence in the Lord. I struggled with doubts and fears that are very common to many, and during my mission I have overcome them. I'd like to keep that as a focus as I relate about this week.
Tuesday
I had the opportunity to be with Elder Black and Elder Messias. They are two amazing missionaries and I have truly seen miracles around them. During the day we were having so much fun interacting with people and helping them feel the spirit. Elder Black also gave me some of his special toothpicks. They are great, so I'll bring some home hahaha.
Wednesday
I got the opportunity to go with a new missionary named Elder Pereyra. He is from Argentina and is absolutely hilarious. He is fired up and wanting to work and help. Our day, after we ate some Shwarma, was a little slow. During the day, he was asking for tips about the mission and lessons that I have learned when we entered a very dilapidated house. The owner of said house was an old member who hasn't been going for a long time. When we walked in we both had a very strong negative feeling. After a brief interaction, Elder Pereyra looked at me and asked what we do. I calmly looked at him, smiled, and told him that we would leave a prayer and help him return to church on Sunday. Here I cannot recap the details, however, the Spirit of the Lord was with us and filled the house and us with his radiating light and love. If you want to know all that happened I can inform you more privately. I testify that the Lord has more power than anything in this world. I know his power is real for I have felt it clearly. The rest of the day Elder Pereyra was asking me how I was so confident and so relaxed. I explained the promise of God that he makes when we enter the Covenant of Baptism and receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. The Covenant that we make is that we will:
1) Take upon us the name of Jesus Christ
2) Serve as a testimony and a witness of Jesus Christ at all times and in all places
3) Keep all the Commandments
The Lord then promises that he will:
1) Give us the Divine companionship of the Holy Ghost
2) That we will Prosper all of our days on this earth
3) That he will be on our Right and on our Left and not let evil near us.
If we truly live the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then we have nothing to fear for all these promises shall be yours if you only want it and do what he asks you to do. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is very simple, but we always seem to find it so hard. Trust in the Lord is the first step.
Thursday
I was with Elder Kirchner in Guabirotuba. We also had a kinda slow day, but it was absolutely amazing as well. This woman named Gabi is going to be baptized the 6th of April! Her story is amazing. She is about 30 years old and was born deaf, but has a hearing aid that helps her hear. Her father is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, but he never got the opportunity to help her come to the church. One day she was on Facebook and she saw a message about the Church of Jesus Christ and she wanted to go and visit. She when by herself for a couple months when the missionaries started talking to her and they invited her to be baptized. She accepted, but was filled with many questions, doubts, fears. She started trying to avoid the missionaries because of these doubts. This day in particular she sent a message saying that she would have to cancel again because she didn't have time. Elder Kirchner looked to me and asked what we should do. We both received a strong impression that we needed to go to her house in that moment. We called an Uber and went. As we arrived she was also arriving home from walking her two dogs (1st Miracle). She let us in (2nd Miracle) and she started talking about her day and her life, and then we asked about how she was feeling about her baptism. She then proceeded to talk about all her concerns about if she was ready to be baptized, if she truly has been forgiven, about what happens if she messes up after baptism, and that she never received a confirmation from the Lord. When she finished speaking Scriptures filled my mind, and I began to speak. I cannot recall what I said, but Elder Kircher and I stand as witnesses that the Spirit filled the room and gave her the response through us. (3rd Miracle) When I finished speaking she had tears in her eyes, a smile on her face, and she said the following words, "I felt the Spirit touch my heart as you perfectly responded to all of my doubts. I heard a voice in my head saying that it was all true. I light around you both. Thank you for being the response to my prayers." After that interaction she told her father that she was going to be baptized, and he sent us an audio thanking us and the Lord for all that had happened. The Lord truly knows each and every one of us. He truly loves and cares for us. If we ask him in prayer with faith, he will always respond, but he will do it on his own time and in his way. Know that the Lord will always respond.
Friday
I was with Elder Peterson for the last time! He made me his famous Cookies and they were so good. We had a really fun day and we counseled again about Confidence and Faith in the Lord. We read an amazing talk which I have studied my entire mission. It's called: Approaching the Throne of God with Confidence.
It truly helped me and I testify that as one follows these 6 steps, your confidence will rise and you will have more Spirit with you always.
Saturday
We went up to Telêmaco Borba and I was with Elder Eastin! He is an awsome new missionary with many fears and doubts about himself. We talked the whole about about his insecurities and worries and I comforted him and we found some good people to bring to church. At the end if the day I shared the same talk with him and he thanked me greatly. He has a great future ahead of him. Know that the Lord will always forgive you, no matter what you have done, if you repent and turn to him.
Sunday
It was just super chill with Elder Smith. He was awesome to talk to and hangout with. We spoke with many people and at the end of the day we felt the true love of the Lord. He is amazing and has a wonderful future ahead of him. He will continue to do great in Borba.
I love the mission. I love the change it has made in me. I love the people that I have been able to help. I love this work. I love the Lord. I can never and will never deny the truths that I know and have seen. In my last two weeks, let's see how many more lives we can change. Take care and I'll see y'all soon.

3 Não Temais (Do Not Fear); March 17, 2025; 1st Assistant to the President; Brasil Curitiba Mission
Another two weeks have passed
Sorry I kinda forgot about the email last week. It was a busy p-day. We cleaned the house, got haircuts, went to luch with the Staff boys. Yeah it was a pretty busy, but laid back p-day. In reality, that week was just a week that passed by without anything too crazy. However this week has been fun and full of great memories!
Tuesday
We had the new missionary meeting and afterwards we got on a Van and got shipped to Ponta Grossa. We stayed with Elder Fisher and Elder Eyring like always. It was really fun.
Wednesday
I went with Elder Pavez and Elder Souza. We did a service project for a member who is a native American. He gave me a hand-carved flute
It was really cool because he was explaining about their culture and what they use the flutes for. He said mine is for meditation and connecting with Heavenly Father. The rest of the day we visited some people and I got the opportunity to see many people who I've missed. I was so happy to see Bispo Thales and his family as well as the Nakaharas and the Udagawas and of course Irmão Denilson. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to see all of them again for the last time.

Thursday
Okay, today was a crazy day! We went over to Campus with Elder Ribero and Elder Eldredge. I went with Elder Ribero, and boy did we have a very spiritual day. We were following the Spirit the entire time and miracles were happening. During the late afternoon, we were walking and came across this family that the missionaries talked to 2 years ago, but never passed by again. They let us in and we talked for a bit. They ended up coming to church on Sunday! (To give context for this next part...everyday I am equipped with my hat, my bag, and my guarda-sol/Beach umbrella. I normally wear them all and have the large umbrella on my back kinda like a sword. I do this because i dont like to carry it in my hand.) Anyway, as we were leaving we were on this spiritual high and full of energy. We were on a two-laned road with a large medium in the middle separating the other two-laned road. We heard barking from dogs coming from that far side. As we looked we saw a Father with his 6 year old daughter holding a small bike with two large pit bulls barking and attacking them. At the moment that we looked over we saw this white pit bull bite the little girl in her leg. I blinked and the next thing I knew I was running across the medium pulling the umbrella from my back and I jumped and I placed myself in between the girl and the pit bull and smacked him on the head. Elder Ribeiro also came and placed himself on the other side against the other pit bull. The girl was crying and screaming and the father was in shock. The white pit bull continued to bark and tried for the little girl again and I smacked it right in the jaw. We told the Father and daughter to start walking up the road. He put the girl in front and pushed her along as the black pit bull remained in the back barking at Elder Ribeiro with the bike. The white pit bull ran behind some cars off on the left and I couldn't see it. I transitioned to the front left of the girl when the white pit bull lunged for her. I smacked his head with the umbrella and kicked him in the ribs to get him away from the girl. The father than grabbed her and put her on his back. The white pit bull continued to attack and bite, but I was able to fend that off with the umbrella. One of the neighbors came out and threw a brick at the white pit bull which caused him to run back and not continue up. Once we were safe and out of range we spoke with them. The girl was lucky because the bite didn't pierce her skin, but she had a full bite mark and bruises. The father was upset and crying and ended up calling the Miitary Police. We left them and continued with our day.
We met up with Elder Borjas and Elder Snow. Elder Borjas and I had a very fun day where we visited a lot of people. It was really fun with him.
Saturday and Sunday
We were in my old area Dalcol for the last time. I passed by many people who I had worked with and helped a year and a half ago. It was awesome to be there on Sunday because I got to spend time with and see all the members who helped me become the missionary I am today. It was just a great and fun time. I love the people there and I will never forget all that they have done for me.

Olha quem Elder Ferreira! Foi ótimo estar juntos com eles!
Olha quem Elder Ferreira! Foi ótimo estar juntos com eles!
President Alex e sua Esposa Cris!! Amo eles bastante!
Irmão Teru Udagawa, o irmão que me ensinou a importância de servir com tudo poder, força, mente, e coração independente dos desafios da vida.
There are other fotos which i do not have, I am also very grateful por O Bispo Thiago e a família Lüder!
Today
We are currently in a cabin in the woods with the family of Bispo Renato! They invited us so we are up here relaxing right now. We will be headed back to Curitiba in the afternoon.
Spiritual Thought: Fear not, Doubt not, only trust in the Lord with a perfect brightness of hope. The Lord is real and know us and blesses us according to our faith. His plan for us is much greater than we can possible imagine. Know that he will always be with you and protect you if you simply live his Gospel.

5...Seguirei; March 3, 2025; 1st Assistant to the President, Brasil Curitiba Mission
Welp another week has passed and lets get into this one.
Tuesday: Uberaba
We went to Uberaba with Elder Reid and Elder Soto, well we actually started with district council. During the time we were talking about the areas one of the Sisters who is training for the first time was expressing her fears and stresses and anxiety about training and not doing well. I do not remember the words I used, however, we all felt the Spirit strongly as words of comfort were said as well as confidence from the Lord filled her heart. Her and her companion ended up doing amazingly this week, so I'm proud of them.
After I went with Elder Soto where we walked and spoke with many people. One of which was a couple who were married and baptized this past Friday! They were super cool to talk to and they gave us some great chocolate cake. After that we walked around the neighborhood and invited some people to play soccer at the church. A little bit later we turned down a road heading towards the church and we ran into 15 youth all walking to the church. We began talking with them and laughing. When we got to the church there were about another 15 youth with some adults. We ended up talking and playing some soccer. A good amount of the youth ended up wanting to come to church so that was awesome!
Wednesday: Guaraituba
This day was great. I was with Elder Granados and we visited all of the people that I helped baptize and helped to church. It was really cool. I truly love all the people there. I was super happy to see Alessandro and his family because they are like another family to me. I hope to see them one more time before I leave because everyone there is great.
Thursday: Lamenha Grande
Welp new Branch just dropped and it's in Tamandaré. I worked with my mission Grandson Elder Batz. He is amazing and hilarious and such a hard worker. We passed by Sybelle and Thiaginho and it was great to see them both. We had a lot of fun climbing the hills of Tamandaré.
Friday: Rio Verde
We went to the Temple and then with Elder Maligon and Elder Rugeri. I ended up going with Elder Maligon where we were going lesson after lesson after lesson. It was awesome and super fun to be with Elder Maligon. He is from the Philippines and super intelligent. Just another great day.
Saturday e Sunday: Rio Branco do Sul
We went all the way back up to the city in the mountains again. It was awesome. It was really hot and we brought 49 people to church this Sunday so that was awesome!
These are 7 packages of coffee that our friend Carlos had us carry away so that he could relieve himself of his addictions and be baptized. He was amazing!

6...Last Transfer; February 24, 2025; 1st Assistant to the President, Brasil Curitiba Mission
Hello all, so today was transfers and well I'll be finishing as Assistant to the President. Going for 7 months!!
I will not lie to y'all today has been very busy with taking my friends and old companion to the airport this morning at 2am. I have been up for many hours and have not taken a nap. In other words, I'm still tired but we keep going. This week has been a very fun week.
Elder Rodrigues and I had our very last division together. It was really fun because it just felt so natural to work with him. We also had burgers for lunch with some of the other Elders.

On Wednesday we grabbed the new missionaries from the airport and took them to their hosts for the week. Also my companion had to get an ingrown toe-nail out so that was fun.

On Thursday we did a surprise division in Guaraituba where I got to see Irmã Fernanda e Misael as well as Janaina e Stefany. It was such a fun day full of great memories. I truly enjoyed being able to go back and visit those who truly made an impact in my life.
Friday we went all the way to Jardim Osasco with Elder Woodford, the flying Aussie. It was a long and very enjoyable day where we found some good people and shared some laughs. Also baptized our friend João who has been fighting against addictions for 50 years and we helped him stop and be baptized to receive the Holy Ghost.

Saturday and Sunday we were in Cachoeira. It was pretty fun because Elder Rocha and I shared a Pastel lunch on Sunday. Then we spent the rest of the Sunday preparing for Transfers.

Today I left Elder Rodrigues at the airport and it was strange. One of my best companions finished and returned home.

It hit me that here in a bit I too will be walking with all my bags. I honestly am so grateful for this time that I have had on my mission. I'll talk about it more in the next emails, however I will just say that it's not over. The Lord still has a lot in store for me and for everyone. The Lord know exactly what we need so we can be the best version of ourselves. The Lord has taught me many great things, one of which is running to the End. Last Transfer, best transfer. Let's keep going and I'll share some personal experiences in the next one.

Also here is a talk I gave at church I hope y'all like it.
O homem pegou a rosa e a jogou no lixo.
E a lista continua.
~Elder Hyatt
